Northwest Natura “Financial Aid” Options
Limited numbers of “Budget/Student” and “Sliding Scale” tickets are available until this new structure gains traction. Therefore, please inquire about budget options via email to nwnatura@gmail.com until further notice.
The tiered structure you see below was designed in early June 2025. Language may be changed as time goes on.

Notes on Payment Process:
Tuition/prices for individual courses are posted on the flyers and within the descriptions of programs here: www.northwestnatura.com/fieldtrips.
Please calculate the cost using full price tuition and the percentages denoted below; then use PayPal or Venmo to submit payment.
add a note to your payment with class title and date of class.
Details about the program will be sent to you 3-5 days prior to the event in a reminder email to all registered participants.
Please choose the option that best aligns with your financial situation:
Budget/Student Tier (-40%)
Ideal for individuals with limited income who must manage their expenses carefully.
Take 40 percent off full tuition price.
Regular Tier (100%)
Ideal for those with a moderate budget that allows them to pay full price for a course or workshop with Northwest Natura.
Pay full price (100%) for tuition.
Charitable Tier I (150%)
Ideal for those who are comfortable with their finances enough to afford to pay more, helping support Northwest Natura and ensuring that programs remain accessible to others.
Pay for your ticket and half of another one as a donation.
Charitable Tier II (200%)
Ideal for those who are comfortable with their finances enough to afford to pay more, helping support Northwest Natura and ensuring that programs remain accessible to others.
Pay for your ticket and another one as a donation.
Green Package (-20%): 3 or more carpooling participants
·Available for groups of 3 or more carpooling and attending together. This package allows you to learn as a group while keeping costs manageable per person and provides incentive to reduce carbon emissions.
Take 20 percent off three or more (3+) full-priced tickets
Sliding Scale Tier
Suggested: 50%
Ideal for those who face the complex challenges of financial insecurity. This option allows you to modify your payment while still supporting Northwest Natura and receiving full access to the class. Your support helps keep the program inclusive for all. Suggested tuition is 50% but if you are facing financial hardship and not in a position to contribute 50% at this time, pay what you can.
