Arrive early (9:30-9:45) at Larrabee State Park Day Use Area

The majority of this class will be spent on or near the ground while we practice firelighting with a ferro rod. Bring something to kneel on such as a thick blanket or yoga mat.
What to Bring:
You may also want to bring:
A fixed-blade knife
Camp chairs
Additional Information
Location: Larrabee State Park off of Chuckanut Drive.
Meeting spot: Larrabee Day Use Area in front the stop sign at the entrance, next to the shelter. (“Elephant Loop Day Use Area” on Google Maps)
Will we be next to our cars during the course?
We will be about a 5-minute walk from our cars.
Do we have access to restroom facilities?
There are heated bathrooms near the day use area and in walking distance from our workshop location.
Will there be shelter from the rain?
There will be a wood shelter provided by the park where we spend most of our time. There may also be a pop-up gazebo set up too if the extra covered space is necessary, and we can have a fire.
