Bone Arrowheads, Natural Cordage & Archery

What to Expect

• Learn how to identify the plants that can be used to wildcraft cordage, arrows and bows

• Handcraft a deer or elk leg bone arrowhead to take home.

• Process natural fibers into cordage with a lesson on making lashing for arrowheads and fletching, or a bow string (concept craft/technique practice); Create cordage with natural fibers from start to finish.

• Archery target practice session that will teach beginners how to handle, hold, and shoot longbows and recurve bows safely. Limited bows available. (byob if you have one)

What to bring:

• Dress for the weather

• Snacks and water

• Notebook and pen (optional)

• Your own bow and arrows if you have them (optional)
