Indoor and outdoor mushroom ID lessons
How to use a dichotomous key
Practice ID with keys & field guides
Field observation and collection; foraging
Collect mushrooms on your own and identify them in class with help from your instructor
Meet 3 days this fall with the same group - make friends with other mushroom lovers!
Mushrooms Demystified by David Aurora (more or less required for this course) Limited copies available to borrow from Northwest Natura. This book is recommended for all your future mushroom ID quests.

Hand lens (a personal hand lens will be provided to each student for them to keep).
