Naturalist Hike - Trees & Wildlife

from $35.00

Saturday December 12th, 2026

12:00pm to ~3:30pm

Berthusen Park - Lynden, WA

Join me in December for a walk in the woods to admire all kinds of wildlife, flora, and fungi thriving in an old growth forest, just outside of Bellingham.

This is a walk in the woods where we’ll be stopping a lot to identify plants including edible and medicinal varieties, any wildlife tracks or sign we come upon, and fungi we see.

This course will be focused on trees and wildlife, but as with any “Naturalist Hike” with Northwest Natura, the course content is developed as we go. This is a great way to meet new friends, or just quietly enjoy learning a ton about local flora, fauna, and fungi.
